**OVERVIEW**

Working with members of Michael Garron Hospital’s (MGH) redevelopment team, the Summer Student will help to support the following activities:

- Construction activity
- Work with Redevelopment Project Managers to compile project management documents, gather data and assist with construction activities coordination
- The summer student will be provided with opportunities to get involved in ad hoc project related activities in both the Operational Readiness and Construction portfolios. These activities include but are not limited to: work plan development and execution, taking minutes and assuming responsibility for action items across both portfolios.
- Maintain an up-to-date log of existing space and its occupants (i.e. offices, storage). Theupdated log will be utilized by the redevelopment team and Master Space Planning Committee to coordinate moves.
- Support weekly move plans

**EDUCATION**
- Enrolled in post-secondary education

**EXPERIENCE**
- Must be flexible and demonstrate the ability to engage positively as part of a team; as well as function well independently
- Highly motivated and demonstrated success in taking initiative and problem solving
- Demonstrated ability to communicateeffectively (written/oral)
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service with the ability to engage in a positive way with all patients and staff required
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite
