Regina, Canada Neighbourly Pharmacy Full time

Pharmasave #420 located in Regina-Dewdney, SK is currently accepting resumes for a part-time Pharmacy Assistant.
- 24 hours per week.
- The usual shifts will be fall between the hours of 9:00 am to 5:30 pm from Monday to Saturday and from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm on Sunday.
- Both weekday and weekend availability is required.

**Responsibilities**:

- Performing specific dispensing functions as outlined by provincial regulations and standards of practice (under the supervision of a pharmacist).
- Receive written prescriptions from customers.
- Locate the medication, select the prescription container, and count/pour the medication.
- Attach the label to the prescription container.
- Ensure that the original container, prescription container contents, and label are checked and initialled by the pharmacist.
- Regularly phone customers for unclaimed prescriptions.
- Keep all areas of the pharmacy clean, neat, and professional.
- Maintain adequate stock of pharmacy supplies.
- Answer the pharmacy's telephone
- Perform other tasks as outlined by the pharmacy manager or staff pharmacists.

**Qualification & Requirements**:

- Preference will be given to those who have retail Pharmacy Assistant experience.
- Kroll's experience is an asset.
- Applicants must be motivated, possess superior organizational skills, and work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and have experience multitasking.
- Professional attitude and ability to communicate well with customers and co-workers.
