Clean Harbors in** London, ON** is seeking a **Field Service Technician**to join their safety conscious team This role**is associated with hazardous waste clean-up, site remediation, equipment decontamination, working in confined spaces and the handling of hazardous materials.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner.
- Operates light and heavy equipment including, but not limited to pumps, vacuum trucks, and equipment, oil spill boom, generators, bobcats, etc.
- Performs chemical and water spills and environmental clean-up.
- Performs Confined Space entries -working with Tank and Vessel Cleaning.
- Performs work at heights, on platforms.
- Performs various tasks associated with Hazardous Waste and Waste cleanups.
- Performs a variety of labour project work.
- Handles various hand tools and powered industrial tools, including pressure washers and saws.
- Wears respirators for work.
- Other duties as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Previous labor/hazardous waste removal experience is a strong asset.
- Experience with industrial cleaning and working with chemicals us a large asset.
- Ability to be physical at work, routinely lift and move objects is required (moving large hoses etc.)
- Ability to work in confined spaces & heights.
- Ability to travel and have a flexible schedule based on emergency needs.
- Ability to be clean shaven and wear respirator for work.
