**job description***:Akelius is seeking an experienced Application Operations Specialist to join the IT team.

The successful individual will be a strong communicator, and excellent at solving problems and making decisions.

The Application Operations Specialist delivers top notch service and support, responding quickly to reported issues.
This individual will deliver solutions to keep employees satisfied and productive with their technology.
- provide support for Yardi Voyager and associated platforms
- resolve support tickets
- complete onboardings and implementations
- provide platform support for questions and problems
- train operations staff members on basic troubleshooting and diagnostics
- diagnose system errors and other large-scale issues
- follow up with customers to ensure full resolution of issues
- improve training methods via feedback requests and other methods of correspondence
- create, edit, and revise training manuals for new and updated processes
- perform other related duties as assigned
**who you are**:

- completed post-secondary education is preferred
- three plus years in a support role
- knowledge of computer administration security best practices/SaaS environments
- good customer service skills
- ability to communicate effectively to help customers fix reported issues and feel satisfied with the experience
- technical writing and editing skills to aid in writing and updating manuals
