**GARDEN CENTRE ASSOCIATE**:
**SPAR spring hiring season is here Come join the fun as our Garden Centre Associate from April through July We are hiring energetic customer focused employees to work in the Garden Centre at a national retailer. We offer flexible day shifts (mornings or afternoons), full time or part time hours and a competitive hourly rate. **You will be responsible for the day-to-day care, stocking and merchandising of product within the Garden Centre while interacting with and assisting customers only (no cashier work).**:

**Responsibilities**:

- Watering, culling, and caring for plant inventory (primarily flowers and vegetables)
- Moving/merchandising plant inventory from growers' racks to the retail floor
- Stocking and merchandising plants in accordance with merchandising guidelines and ensuring pricing signage accuracy
- Assisting customers
- Assist in soil management - pricing, inventory count
- Additional admin tasks - tracker for watering schedule, sprinkler system functionality

**Requirements**:

- Reliable transportation
- Smart Phone
- Ability to work outside and lift garden center products
- Steel-toed shoes/boots
- Prior work experience in Retail, Merchandising, or Customer Service is an asset but not required
- Open/flexible availability

**Work Location**:

- One retail location
