**Estimator**

Under the direction of the Construction Manager, the Estimator will ensure the timely and accurate release of completed construction files and price requests as well as the maintenance of master budgets and product library.

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare & maintain job files for housing;
- Plan detailed material take offs & cost estimates;
- Provide sub trade pricing for plans, specifications and coordinate the tender process;
- Prepare cost to complete estimates, issue purchase orders to sub trades and material suppliers ;
- Prepare all job files for Superintendent;
- Monitor flow of invoices and work with accounting to ensure timely and accurate payables;
- Complete all Sales price requests in a timely fashion;
- Liaise with Sales Consultants/Admin team and Superintendent to ensure accuracy of information being distributed to the field;
- Build and maintain model masters;
- Build and maintain product library options/upgrades;
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned;
**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2-3 years of residential estimating experience
- Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to work in a team as well as individually
- Knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
- Attention to detail
- Strong time management skills
- Capability to create & maintain housing budgets & costing options
- Ability to manage a heavy workload
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a heavy workload
