You must be local to Yellowknife, NT or be willing to relocate. Salary is competitive and dependent upon experience, certifications, and willingness to move to Yellowknife, NT.

This role demands seasoned expertise in overseeing all facets of business operations, making it an exciting opportunity for those ready to drive success to new heights. We're seeking an individual who can seamlessly execute the following responsibilities and demonstrate these qualities:
**Small & Large Steel Fabricating Estimation**:Provide efficient budgets and turnarounds to our ideal clients with an emphasis on Steel Fabrication & Field Installation

**Small & Large Construction Projects**:Involving steel, wood, and concrete estimates & management

**Scheduling & Logistics**:Overseeing office staff to ensure efficient, effective, and collaborative team schedules and production, including staff travel

**Inventory Control Delegation**:Delegation of the inventory control, including counts, quotes, ordering, receiving, sorting, and assigning to projects

**Management of Field Leads and Supervisors**:Guiding field, shop, and office staff for all projects in the field, shop, and office to ensure quality and efficiency

**Project Estimating**:Primary focus is on project bidding to forecast projects, manpower, and future workloads to keep production consistent with growth

**Collaboration with BC Operations**: Work with our BC Team for Estimating, Project Management, and Leadership

**COO**:Working under COO to make strategic decisions, produce results, and be the go to person for Yellowknife Business Operations.

**Client Relations**: Maintain positive relationships with client, increase opportunities, and offer solutions, addressing requests efficiently and with quality

**Business Improvements**: Focus on collaboration with management and owners across departments for the overall improvement, for efficiency, quality, and team collaboration with the implementation of processes and procedures with intended growth year over year

**Leadership**: Exhibit strong leadership skills to motivate teams, drive initiatives, and foster a culture of excellence.

**Strategic Relations**:Create and foster relationships with Indigenous Groups and larger prime contractors for the growth in general construction of buildings, mining services, military opportunities, and housing.

**Certifications**: Ensure company certifications and qualifications are maintained and held to a high standard.

**Education and Qualifications**:
Possess a Business Management degree, with at least 10 years of experience in the steel industry and/or manufacturing and construction. Technical experience in the Trades with the skills, confidence, and strategies to effectively communicate and lead Trades people, Administrative Staff, and Field Operations.

**Ideal qualifications**:

- Minimum 10 years of experience in construction, fabrication, or industrial project management
- At least 10 years of estimating experience on large-scale or custom projects
- Proven leadership and team-building skills in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word)
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed
- Education in business, engineering technology, construction management, or a related trade is preferred

**Compensation**:
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $135,000.00-$155,000.00 per year
