We also offer our clients comprehensive packages for commercial grounds maintenance. Spartan Group is currently looking to add a Snow Plow Operator to grow with us as a team member. This position requires on-call availability 24/7.

We have full time, year-round positions open as well as seasonal placements for this winter.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

High school diploma, GED or equivalent

Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a machine operator (for example, loader with plow, backhoe with plow, tractor with plow, skid/track steer with plow, truck with plow and/or salter)

Ability to operate small or large construction equipment/plow truck

Ability to prioritize and multi-task

Highly motivated, self
- driven and detail oriented

Valid driver’s license

Effective leadership skills necessary to lead a small crew

Effective communication and time management skills

Ability to read maps and fill out logs

Punctual and reliable

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

Maintain a clean and safe job site at all times

Ensure that all safety rules and company safety policies are adhered to

Operate a variety of construction machinery

Responsible for all winter snow clearing and related activities as assigned by the Operations Manager

Shop work vehicle and equipment maintenance activities as assigned

Communicate well with all crew members and supervisor

Monitor all tools, equipment, and machinery for needed maintenance

Track and record all job expenses and hours worked accurately

This position is part/full time with the potential for year-round employment and an opportunity for future growth and advancement in this field

**Salary**: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
