The Barnes family has been in the Western Canadian automotive business for over 40 years, beginning with a General Motors dealership in Camrose, Alberta and growing rapidly since then.
**Job Summary**:
Reporting to the COO and the CFO, the main focus of this role is to support Head Office by ensuring communications are delivered and handled in a timely manner within our Victoria dealerships. You will be responsible for monitoring systems and processes, travelling between stores and following up with General Managers, and reporting and updating Head Office on the day-to-day operations of the island dealerships.
**Job Duties and Responsibilities**
- Regularly travelling between our Victoria dealerships
- Monitoring systems and processes are being followed in a timely manner
- Holding dealership General Managers accountable for responding and addressing all communications from Head Office
- Reporting to and updating Head Office on the day-to-day operations of the Victoria dealerships
- Some operational filing and reporting
- Must wear high visibility gear at all times
**Job Type**: Full-time, permanent
**Wage**: $45,000-$55,000 per year
**Schedule**: 9:00 AM-5:00 PM, Tuesday to Saturday
**Qualifications**
- A valid driver’s license
- Ability and willingness to travel regularly
- Your own mode of transportation
- Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written
- Solutions-minded, upbeat and positive
Familiarity with the following is an asset:
- Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Teams
- Viva Engage/Yammer
