GENERAL LABOURER

THE GENERAL LABOURER WILL BE SUPPORTING ON THE CONSTRUCTION SITES FOR NEW HOME BUILDS AND RENOVATIONS. TASKS INCLUDE PHYSICAL LABOUR AND WILL REQUIRE THE ABILITY TO OPERATE A VARIETY OF HAND TOOLS.

JOB DETAILS:
LOCATION - GANANOQUE, BROCKVILLE, AND KINGSTON AREA, ONTARIO

SCHEDULE: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM MONDAY - THURSDAY, 8:00 AM - 2:30PM FRIDAY

JOB DUTIES:

- BOLT, SCREW, CLIP, CAULK, SAW AND OTHER CONSTRUCTION DUTIES
- LOAD AND UNLOAD MATERIALS
- OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
- FOLLOW CURRENT SAFETY STANDARDS AND PROCEDURES

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- EXPERIENCE OR ABILITY TO WORK WITH A VARIETY OF HAND AND POWER TOOLS.
- ABILITY TO BEND, CROUCH AND LIFT ITEMS AS REQUIRED, UP TO 50LBS.
- ATTENTION TO DETAIL.
- ABILITY TO READ AND WRITE.
- ABILITY TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY OR AS PART OF A TEAM COMPLETING ASSIGNED ACTIVITIES ACCORDING TO THE PRODUCTION SCHEDULE.
- COMMITMENT TO PRODUCT QUALITY AND SAFETY.
- REQUIRES GOOD MANUAL DEXTERITY. (HAND, HAND WITH ARM, TWO HANDS) AND MULTI-LIMB COORDINATION.
- ABLE TO COMMUNICATE BOTH VERBALLY AND IN WRITING.
- BASIC MATHEMATICAL SKILLS.
- RESPECT DIVERSITY - TREAT OTHERS WITH RESPECT.
- MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION.
- WILLING TO WORK OVERTIME AS REQUIRED, EITHER EARLY OR LATE.
- SAFETY FOOTWEAR.
