We are looking to fill a part time position of Transportation Representative at our Saint
- laurent office.

**The main responsibilities are to**:

- File creations for shipments that have been tagged to Asia Import Desk;
- Handle Inbond shipments 1-2 a week;
- Maintaining and updated tracking reports for each forwarder;
- Analyse and negotiate trucking rates;
- Coordinate with involved parties for missing documents, required information, and other requests related to proper customs release and delivery to final destination;
- Confirm that Customs release and Steamship line releases are obtained;
- Verify supplementary charges prior to payment of invoices;
- Maintain working relationship and information flow to buyers & warehouses;
- Track and trace shipments to avoid potential storage/demurrage;

**Requirements**:

- DES or DEC in administration (transportation/GOL is an asset);
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
- Knowledge of AS-400 and JDE;
- Bilingual (written and spoken).
- Has a team spirit and strong interpersonal skills;
- Is rigorous, well-organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously;
- Has a sense of ethics and professionalism, demonstrating confidentiality and discretion;
- Is resourceful and autonomous.
