**Internal Communications & Digital Media Assistant**
- (Full time,_ CUPE_)_

As a creative and detail-oriented communications professional, you will support the Communications Manager in advancing the School District's public presence through engaging digital strategies and internal communications initiatives. You will take a lead role in managing the district's online presence—developing content for websites, coordinating internal communications, and overseeing social media platforms to ensure alignment with District priorities and strategic goals.

In this role, you will evaluate and maintain the district's web and social media platforms, creating professional, compelling content that reflects the values and goals of the district. You will work with a range of digital tools to write, design, and publish text, video, and graphic content that engages audiences and communicates important initiatives clearly and effectively.

You will liaise with school and District staff, as well as partner groups and community organizations, to ensure all digital content is accurate, timely, and reflective of District programs and services. You will also support internal communications by coordinating content for the staff portal and helping ensure employees remain informed and connected.

Your responsibilities will include researching, drafting, editing, and publishing content, as well as supporting various Learning Services and school websites. You will operate with strict adherence to policies and legislation related to copyright, privacy, and the protection of confidential student information.

Exceptional skills in writing, editing, content design, and familiarity with a variety of digital tools will be key to your success, along with a collaborative approach and a high level of professionalism.
