Digital Marketing/ Social Media Intern

Job Description

Chefhyve is a fast casual restaurant offering elevated dishes from a chef inspired menu with a focus on local, sustainably sourced ingredients. We are located in Vancouver at 2525 Kingsway and our second location is opening in Spring of '26.

We have online presence in the form of active social media channels as well as an online store and multiple digital delivery channels. We are also implementing an in-store digital ordering solution linking customers to our online store.

We are looking for an experienced and creative Digital Marketing Intern to join our team. Your objective is to optimize digital marketing efforts based on a sound strategy via our social media channels, PPC advertising, Email marketing and SEO initiatives.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Social Media Responsibilities: create and oversee content, generate and monitor user engagement, build a community and study and report on industry trends.
  • Manage SEO: This involves creating content (blogs, articles, etc.), link building and keyword optimization.
  • PPC / Advertising Responsibilities: Ensure our Google Ads (Search, Local, Display) are fully optimized with approved language, budget and graphics and are also going to landing pages that are branded with approved language, graphics and content.
  • Google Maps Responsibilities: Manage and create custom content, monitor and improve metrics and optimize feed. Apply automated AI responses to reviews.
  • Loyalty Marketing Responsibilities: Manage all customer loyalty activities and promotions to maximize ROI.
  • Catering Program Responsibilities: Manage and promote our catering programs. Create custom brochures highlighting catering offerings and present a plan for an outreach campaign aimed at corporate and government clients.

The ideal candidate should have an excellent understanding of hospitality business, social media management and performance marketing channels, including Content Marketing, PPC, SEO/SEM, Google Ads, Tiktok/Facebook/Instagram Advertising, among others.

Knowledge of restaurant loyalty campaigns, gift cards, catering programs and other promotional material is a big plus.

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
