**Responsibilities**
- Moving materials by hand or by forklift when required
- Add projects and item numbers with count into Excel spreadsheet
- Make sure all bins are properly tagged with item numbers and quantities
- Updating and issuing material in ERP system
- Weekly inventory count of products in staging lanes
- Stage product for easy access for weld and other departments
- Take orders that are outbound to shipping tagged and wrapped
- Perform other handling duties such as: counting, weighing, and sorting
- Pick material from the warehouse for outsourced jobs
- Operate a forklift to unload steel trucks as required
- Put away received materials to proper storage locations
- Fill out necessary check sheets and forms as required
- Participate in clean-up and maintenance
- Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and PakFab policies
- Other duties as required

**Requirements**:

- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting required
- 1+ year of experience as a forklift operator with a current forklift operator’s license required
- 2+ years of shipping/receiving or material handling experience required
- Experience using an ERP system (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License would be an asset
- Punctual and dependable self-starter
- Ability to work effectively both individually and as a team member
- Ability to read and write English
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic math skills
- Computer literate
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis

**Work Conditions**
- Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Safety equipment will be required, e.g., CSA approved steel-toed safety boots
- Overtime as required
- Hazards associated with the trade
- Work both indoors and outdoors

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 48 per week
