**Job Summary**
The Shipper/Receiver is required to load, unload and move products/supplies by hand or by forklift. This position will coordinate with several departments to ensure the smooth running of the shipping/receiving function. Other responsibilities include staging products for easy shipping and using company vehicles to pick up items from local suppliers and other PakFab locations.

**Responsibilities**
- Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or by forklift when required
- Coordinate with logistics to ship product to appropriate locations
- Coordinate with the Manufacturing Manager for use of company trucks to pick up items from local suppliers/partners and other PakFab locations.
- Tag all outgoing sample or prototype racks/totes with appropriate labels
- Prepare FedEx labels
- Stage product for easy access prior to shipping
- Pick orders and prepare for shipping, including: stacking, wrapping, and crating products
- Perform other handling duties such as: counting, weighing, and sorting
- Receive all incoming shipments and input into Visual software
- Move received supplies to the appropriate location
- Pick material from the warehouse for outbound orders and ensure they are high quality materials being shipped.
- Maintain the incoming board to show shortages prior to building
- Operate a forklift to unload trucks as required
- Put away received materials to proper storage locations
- Fill out necessary check sheets and forms as required
- Participate in clean-up and maintenance
- Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and PakFab policies
- Other duties as required
**Requirements**:
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting required
- 1+ year of experience as a forklift operator with a current forklift operator’s license required
- 2+ years of shipping/receiving or material handling experience required
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License would be an asset
- Punctual and dependable self-starter
- Ability to work effectively both individually and as a team member
- Ability to read and write English
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic math skills
- Computer literate
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
**Work Conditions**
- Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Travel to off-site locations may be required.
- Safety equipment will be required, e.g. CSA approved steel-toed safety boots, etc.
- Overtime as required.
- Hazards associated with the trade.
- Work both indoors and outdoors.
