Reporting to the Manager, Compensation, Classification, Pension and Benefits, the Compensation and Classification Analyst assists in the development, implementation, communication and administration of compensation and classification related programs.

**Rotation/Shifts**:
Days, 8 hour shifts.

**What you will do**:

- Ensure the maintenance of the integrity of our compensation and classification structure in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS);
- Support various compensation-related initiatives through the provision of reports, statistics and analysis;
- Support the development and maintenance of job descriptions and classifications, and ensure internal equity and Pay Equity compliance;
- Participate in the job evaluation process for all employee groups and liaise with union groups on classification and compensation related matters;
- Participate in the coordination of salary and other pay increases;
- Participate in small to large-scale compensation-related projects;
- Ensure that salary administration guidelines are followed;
- Respond to salary surveys and analyze survey results.

**What you will bring**:

- Three-year community college diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field;
- Minimum of three (3) years experience working in a Human Resources Department or similar environment, including at least one (1) year of direct experience in compensation structures and classification processes;
- Familiarity with job descriptions and compensation structures;
- Knowledge of Collective Agreements;
- Ability to manage databases and to develop charts, tables and graphs;
- Experience with data analytics and working with Human Resources Information Systems (PeopleSoft, SAP, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent organization skills;
- Client service-oriented and capable of managing competing priorities/meeting tight deadlines.
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing needs and timelines.

**You will stand out with**:

- Experience working in a complex, unionized environment;
- Experience working in healthcare or a health related environment;
- Proficiency in English and French - oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level).
