Job Description
We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic brand ambassadors to represent Carleton Dining Services at events across campus throughout the year. You would be responsible for informing the Carleton community about promotions, events, and other peer-to-peer engagement opportunities. Job Responsibilities Assists the Marketing team in driving participation, traffic and sales in residential and retail locations through development and execution of events and promotions, working with Carleton Dining staff to insure implementation, and the post-activity analysis. Act as an ambassador for Dining Services by participation in dining events in retail and residence. Additionally, helping to conduct secret shops and focus groups; providing general, and informal solicitation of student feedback. Conducts research for various projects throughout the academic year, including data collection regarding traffic patterns, competitive analysis, catering, and retail, customer service surveys, and intercept surveys Act as a liaison between Carleton Dining Services and the student body through peer-to-peer marketing, reaching out to student groups, coordinating the marketing schedule with university events, and conducting student surveys and focus groups Ability to communicate student trends by providing information on student needs, study habits, and activities to assist in identifying missed on-campus markets Interact with customers while working at various marketing events such as meal plan promotions tables, residential theme dinners, and promotions
Social Media Taking photos, videos, and post live content during various Dining Services events Analyze and translate qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising the social media campaigns.
Marketing Support Support program messaging by assisting the Marketing team in design of collateral for various marketing campaigns, inclusive of promotions, social media, advertisement, meal plan sales, etc. Distribute marketing materials to the dining locations and make sure materials posted are up to date (posters, maps, table tents, napkin ads, etc.)
