**Job purpose**
The main function of the Counter Manager is to act as a team leader by coaching and developing a team of Beauty Consultants while leading the team to achieving sales targets.
**Duties and responsibilities**
**Key Tasks & Responsibilities**
- Set, achieve, and support team sales goals
- Build strong customer relations by following up and inviting clients to upcoming events
- Execute events and holiday programs
- Provide strong product knowledge to customers differentiating Nars from other brands
- Consistently seek new beauty trends and act as a Brand Ambassador for the customer
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to maximize business results
- Manage scheduling for in-store team
- Stock/inventory, merchandising, display, price markdowns, merchandise transfers
**Qualifications**
- Minimum of 2-3 years of management experience, preferably within the Cosmetics industry an asset
- Must be a certified makeup artist
- Proven ability to lead and support a team to achieving sales goals
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
- Full flexibility with schedule (including evenings and weekends)
- Results-driven
- Customer-focused
