**Job Title: Community Support Worker**

Independent Counselling Enterprises (I.C.E.) is a province-wide agency that has been in operation since 1986. We offer supports to individuals with developmental disabilities. We are community based and strive to empower and foster independence in our clients.

**Hours**: Various Hours weekdays and weekends

**Location: Edmonton North and South**

**Qualifications**:

- Experience working with people with disabilities _**required.**_
- Medical experience an _**asset.**_
- Must have Clear Vulnerable Sector Police Information Check dated within the last 6 months. **Required before commencing employment.**
- Must be able to provide two work related references _**required.**_
- Minimum of Emergency First Aid with CPR level A _**required.**_
- Vehicle, valid driver’s license and Third Party $2million liability insurance _**required.**_
- Valid work/study permit (if applicable) _**required.**_

**-**Willing to complete 3 days of mandatory training.
- Willing to travel anywhere within Edmonton
- Outgoing, friendly and possess a positive and professional attitude, with demonstrated willingness to learn

**Duties/Responsibilities**:
**-**Assisting clients with daily living skills and encouraging independence
- Community access; taking and participating with clients in community, social and employment activities and increasing inclusion in the community
- Administering medication
- Being able to work independently and work in a team atmosphere
- Dealing with behaviors in a positive, calming manner
- Maintaining appropriate documentation records and confidentiality with clear communication skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 30 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Every Weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- On call
- Weekends as needed
- Weekends only
