Victoria, Canada QV CAFE AND BAKERY Full time

We are looking for a line cook/cook for our Cafe. Experience in brunch and a love of cooking is desired. We are looking for a long term employee that is also available for weekends. If you are someone or know someone, please let us know And of course you could just come in 1701 government street, right at the gates to Chinatown is our location.

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to restaurant standards and recipes.
- Ensure food safety and hygiene practices are followed during food handling and preparation.
- Assist in meal preparation and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety and handling practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Previous experience in food service is a plus

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.50-$20.00 per hour

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay
- Tips

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
