Wood Worker

**Responsibilities**:

- Utilize various woodworking tools and machinery to cut, shape, and assemble wooden cabinet components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or design specifications to ensure accurate execution of the project.
- Select appropriate wood materials and determine the best cutting techniques to optimize quality and minimize waste.
- Measure, mark, and cut wood pieces to the required dimensions using precise measurements and specialized tools.
- Assemble cabinet components, including doors, drawers, frames, and hardware, using a variety of joining techniques such as screws, nails, or dovetail joints.
- Collaborate with the design team to provide input on material selection, construction techniques, and design improvements.
- Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment, ensuring tools and equipment are properly maintained and in good working condition.
- Adhere to safety protocols and best practices to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or Woodworker, with a strong portfolio showcasing your craftsmanship.
- Proficiency in using woodworking tools and equipment such as saws, drills, sanders, routers, and jointers.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or design specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for precision and quality.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with the design team and clients.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy materials when necessary.
- Commitment to safety protocols and knowledge of best practices in woodworking safety.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or vocational training in woodworking is a plus.

**Salary**: $15.65-$25.54 per hour
