Industrial Sewing Machine Operator

Seamstress/Seamster - Full-Time & Part-Time Positions Available, North Vancouver, BC
Immediate employment is available for a dependable individual with previous experience in sewing. Must be able to work in a team, have open and honest communication, and have a confident can-do attitude.
We're dedicated to creating a positive work environment and providing our customers with the best quality furniture.
Duties Include:
1. Cut from a pattern the pieces that make up the body of a sofa/chair/bed or ottoman.
2. Serge, sew, stitch and finish components for the upholstery team.
3. Pattern making is sometimes required.
4. At times, we cut fabric using a laser cutting machine; you would be required to pair the pieces and prepare them for assembly.
Health and dental benefits are available after six months.
Must be a permanent Canadian resident and be able to communicate in English.
Must be able to commute to North Vancouver.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 32 per week
**Salary**: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
