Martket Textile is growing, and we’re hiring skilled Industrial Sewing Machine Operators to join our Made-in-Canada manufacturing team in Vancouver. This is a great opportunity to work in a clean, modern facility with both specialized and mid-scale production capabilities. In this role, you’ll operate and maintain industrial sewing machines to produce high-quality garments and consumer textile products for a range of North American fashion partners and retailers. Experience with different fabrics, sewing techniques, and strong attention to detail is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
Operate industrial sewing machines to sew, join, gather, hem, or reinforce materials
Follow patterns and specifications to produce accurate and high-quality products
Inspect finished products for quality assurance and make necessary adjustments
Perform routine maintenance on sewing machines and troubleshoot any issues
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures

Qualifications
Proven experience as an Industrial Sewing Machine Operator
Familiarity with various types of sewing machines and techniques
Experience with Heat Bonding Machines, Ultrasonic Welding Machines, or Taping Machines is an asset
Ability to read and interpret patterns and specifications
Strong attention to detail and precision
Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to sit or stand for long periods and lift up to 20-30 pounds
