**Please note**: Long term occasional DECEs in an assignment greater than eighty (80) instructional days or four (4) months in duration, are eligible for up to three (3) full unpaid days during the term of their LTO assignment. A DECE LTO in an assignment greater than thirty (30) instructional days but less than eighty (80) instructional days in duration will be eligible to take up to one (1) unpaid day during the term of their LTO assignment. 2014, c. 11, Sched. 1 Ontario Regulation 137/15 for staff screening and police record checks; Employees [DECEs, EAs, CYWs] working in licensed child care programs are required to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check issued by a Police Service on or before every fifth anniversary after the date of the most recent vulnerable sector check. In addition, employees are required to complete an annual offence declaration (annually recorded through the WRDSB staff portal).
