Job description

PL Telecom is looking for a Security System Installation Technician (Legacy, DSC and Honeywell) and a subcontractor to join its team. We offer, in addition to the usual telecommunications services, a personalized security solution for canadian residences.

We are looking for Technicians and Contractors based in Moncton.

**Job specification**:

- Proceed with the installation of alarm systems and home automation products (access control, surveillance cameras, motion detectors, door contact, etc.)
- Train the customer on his new installations (arming/disarming, operation of motion detectors, what to do in an alarm situation, etc.)
- Explain the work to be done to clients
- Assess, diagnose and report defects that require repairs
- Ensure compliance with standards and specifications
- Provide an exceptional experience to all our customers
- Write and send work reports and follow-up forms to the team
- Work independently and help other technicians in the field
- Observe and follow all company health and safety rules and policies
- Know and understand new products and services
- Provide 5 star customer service
- Other related tasks

**Requirements**:
Have a diploma in installation and repair of alarm systems or equivalent experience.

Valid driver's license

Have experience in customer service

Be able to workdays, evenings and weekends

Good driving record

**Job Type**: Full Time, Permanent

**Salary**: $50,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
