**FULL JOB DESCRIPTION**:
Beacon is looking for aerial technicians to join our growing team. You will be able to grow your skillset in multiple directions of telecom in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for all levels of experience, 2+ years in the telecommunications industry is ideal. This is a permanent, full-time position.

**ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Install and service communication towers, rooftops, and various site types for major wireless carriers in Canada.
- Climb towers at heights to perform the safe installation of steel structures, components, hardware, etc.
- Antenna installation and alignments
- Cable termination and management
- Safe installation of steel structures, components, and associated general procedures.
- Knowledge of safe hoisting/rigging lift practices
- Working outdoors - in severe weather conditions
- Installation of antenna and transmission line systems on towers, roofs, and other structures
- Performing all general ground duties associated with tower construction and equipment shelter.
- Perform sweep tests on lines and antennas.
- Perform plumb and tensioning on new/existing towers.
- Read and follow construction drawings.
- Participate in daily tailboard safety meetings.
- Communicate with all crew members.
- Work with our crews installing telecommunications towers and retrofitting existing

towers.

**EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS**
- Class 5 driver’s license (required)
- Must be comfortable working at heights.
- Must be willing to travel.
- Previous construction experience is an asset although not required.

**KNOWLEDE & SKILLS**
- Strong understanding of Telecom industry system requirements (rooftops, monopoles, towers)
- Ability to identify safe working conditions and take a proactive approach to maintaining them.
- Requires the ability to oversee and direct junior crew members as required.
- Requires a strong ability to read and interpret site plans, engineering, and construction drawings.
- Possesses strong industry-related skills, rigging, steel erection, line installation, antenna and microwave installation, testing, and troubleshooting.

Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour
