**Yard Worker**

**Rate of Pay**: $18.00 - $20.25 per hr. CDN (Depending on Experience)

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Ensure RTM (Ready to Move) materials are organized and placed at required units;
- Ensure all RTM’s are clean and kept in order as directed;
- Keep heaters fueled and running, moving from unit to unit as required by trades as needed;
- Load and unload units with appliances, set up as required;
- Clean garbage and left over materials from RTM’s;
- Complete a checklist of outstanding materials required in units;
- Place and dump tipper bins, clean up beams and cribs when required;
- Ensure onsite returns of extra materials are documented and returned;
- Assist with prefab deck landings (as required);
- Enforce proper PPE with trades working onsite;
- Other duties as required.

**Requirements & Qualifications**:

- Hold a valid Class 5 driver’s licence;
- Ability to organize and prioritize workloads;
- Forklift experience desired (but not required) - In house training/testing provided;
- Ability to do physical labour including lifting, carrying (over 50 Lbs.), bending repeatedly on a daily basis;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Ability to perform at a high level in a fast paced, demanding working environment.
- Reliable vehicle is required, as this is a non-bus route.
- Experience and knowledge in this or a related industry is an asset.

**Working Conditions**:

- Exposure to dust and extreme changes in temperature and weather when working outside year around.
- Safety boots and safety equipment are required;
- Busy, high-volume environment.

**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time
