Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Controller with expertise in manufacturing and cost analysis within the food industry. As a Plant Controller, you will play a vital role in ensuring financial accuracy, controlling costs, and driving profitability within our plant operations.

**Responsibilities**:
Perform detailed analysis of the cost of goods sold (COGS) for our food manufacturing processes, including material costs, labor costs, and overhead expenses.

Develop and implement strategies to optimize cost efficiency and improve profitability while maintaining product quality and safety.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and finance, to gather data, analyze trends, and identify opportunities for cost savings.

Monitor inventory levels, production variances, and waste to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions.

Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis, to support management decision-making.

Maintain and enforce internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Provide financial guidance and recommendations to plant management on cost reduction initiatives and process improvements.

Support month-end and year-end close activities, including reconciliations and financial statement preparation.

Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to manufacturing and cost accounting.

**Requirements**:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. MBA or CPA designation is a plus.

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Plant Controller or a similar role within the food manufacturing industry.

Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, including cost allocation, standard costing, and variance analysis.

Proficiency in analyzing COGS and identifying cost drivers in a manufacturing environment.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.

Experience with ERP systems, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

**Salary**: $90,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
