**Description**:
The **Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Project Manager** is responsible for the design, development, organization, promotion, implementation, and evaluation of the 50-30 Challenge Hub at Northern Lights College, which is a partnership between Northern Lights College, University of Northern British Columbia, and Community Development Institute.

Responsibilities include the day-to-day administration and operation of the 50-30 Challenge Hub, liaising with participant organizations across western Canada as they work to implement and achieve the goals of the 50-30 Challenge. This will include training and supervising the EDI Project Advisors, completing appropriate project reporting, and overseeing data tracking and program evaluation requirements to ensure project is on target, planning and evaluating events, and supporting participants as they work to achieve their EDI objectives.

This position will be located in either the Dawson Creek or Fort St John campus, and travel frequently throughout western Canada (BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and the Territories). The 50-30 Challenge Hub Project Manager is responsible for working within, and administering, the prescribed budget, as approved by College Institute of Canada (CiCan), while meeting the project objectives and creating a strategy to ensure project outcomes are met.

** Travel both within the NLC community region and outside our region is required.

**Qualifications**:
**_ Required: _**
- A Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of two (2) years of directly related to EDI work and/or project management.
- Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory and staff management experience in a relevant role. With the ability to build and manage an effective team.
- Can conform to shifting priorities, demands, timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities, and react to project adjustments and alteration promptly and efficiently.
- Excellent organization skills, scheduling skills, and the ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Experience working with policies and procedures in the education system in British Columbia and other Canadian provinces.
- Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, stakeholders, and other departments.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse population.
- Ability to handle confidential Human Resources, Payroll, Finance, and Applicant Records information.
- Intermediate skills with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and solid working knowledge of Computer information systems including data base operation, and internet technologies.
- Strong budget management skills, with the ability to manage a primary budget of $850,000.00.
- A valid BC driver's (Class 5) license is mandatory and a willingness to travel throughout western Canada is a must.
