Our MF in the Community program seeks to raise awareness and funding for local not-for-profit programs and charities aligned to our mission to buy local, be local, support local.

**Position Summary**

**Job Structure**

This is a part-time, hourly wage position. Work schedule includes weekends and holidays as required. Paid vacation accrual at 4%.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers with their produce selections and answering any questions they may have.
- Maintain a clean and organized produce section, ensuring that all fruits and vegetables are displayed attractively.
- Monitor the freshness of products, removing any items that are spoiled or damaged.
- Assist in stocking shelves and displays with new inventory as it arrives.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure efficient operations within the department.
- Sell promotional items and educate customers about seasonal products.

**Skills and Experience**
- 1 year of produce experience.
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and product quality.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Comfortable with standing, walking, bending and lifting for duration of shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week
