**Project Manager, Technology Implementation**

We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to lead and address the software requirements for our Virtual Healthcare team. This is a great opportunity to exercise your software engineering knowledge to help bring the latest technology to the market. You will be responsible for the development of business workflow documents, requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and deployment. You will be expected to assess and manage a development team to deliver set outcomes and targets..

We are looking for someone experienced in the software development lifecycle and enjoy getting their hands dirty. You will be working with a cross-functional team to resolve issues and generate new designs.

**Location**:Thornhill (40%) and Virtual (60%)

**Responsibilities**:

- Identify user requirements, conducting systems analysis, analyzing workflow requirements, and recommending alternatives process improvements
- Lead project from planning to completion through project life cycle
- Work closely with operational and project team to define the workflow requirements and to create flow charts documents (ie. visio/lucid chart)
- Manage development team based on defined requirements
- Prepare a budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
- Track project costs in order to meet budget
- Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers
- Work closely with project stakeholders, end-users to collect feedback and perform user acceptance testing
- Ensure the project meets its requirement and project schedule
- Monitor and report on progress and identify areas for improvement
- Troubleshooting and maintenance (upgrade, recovery, data migration, etc) from development to staging and production environment throughout the DevOps pipeline
- Understand our business needs and make suggestions for process improvements where appropriate
- Documentation of work to ensure proper understanding of software functionality and design
- Support management and perform administrative tasks throughout the project cycle
- Able to manage and work within a team environment, including offshore team members
- Excellent analytical capabilities, problem-solving abilities, and strong knowledge of business analysis techniques.

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary or Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Information Technology, Computer Science/Engineering or a related discipline
- Self-starter, able to work with mínimal supervision
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Take initiative and manage multiple tasks in a timely fashion
- Open-minded and willing to learn
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
- New graduates welcome - training and mentoring will be provided
