**Summary**:
Are you an experienced Roller Operator looking for a new challenge? Are you wanting to be part of a team that values your contributions and can provide continuous opportunities for growth? E Construction is now hiring an experienced Roller Operator for various worksites throughout Northern Alberta for the 2025 construction season

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate the roller and other heavy equipment in a safe manner.
- Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
- Determine the speed and direction of the machines so that ridges do not form from excessive pressure.
- Use hand roller or portable power roller to pound surfaces not accessible to road roller.
- Operate self-propelled steel-wheeled or other types of rollers.
- Train new employees in the safe and efficient operation of the roller.
- Must ensure a solid understanding of and comply with the principles of the company's Code of Ethics.
- Other construction related duties as required.

**Qualifications | Requirements**:

- High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
- Class 5 Driver's License.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience within the road construction industry.
- 2-3 years' experience operating a roller, finish roller experience is preferred.

**Working Conditions**:

- Weather dependent schedule of Monday to Saturday, up to 12 hours per day. Overtime is paid in accordance with local employment standards legislation.
- Work is performed in an outdoor setting, which could include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.
- Out of town travel may be required. Accommodations and Live Out Allowance (LOA) is applicable in most situations.
- Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50LBS on a regular basis.
- Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required.
- Use of sunscreen, long sleeves, and appropriate headgear is recommended.
- Must comply with the company's drug and alcohol testing requirements.
