The Commercial Banking Sales Performance and Support team is looking for a senior advisor for the role of Business Performance Partner for the Commercial Banking VP and AVP. Using your extensive knowledge of the Commercial Banking sector, your leadership and strong analytical skills, you will help leaders and the Commercial Banking sales force analyze financial performances. You will also advise on various operational issues.
Your main challenges:
- Help the Commercial Banking business line achieve its objectives (revenues, volumes and other indicators) and in various operational aspects
- Analyze and present financial results; anticipate business challenges and opportunities and make recommendations to capitalize on these opportunities
- Be the expert advisor for stakeholders and executives in the sector and exert your influence whenever required
- Provide specialized advice requiring a cross-sector vision (Financial, Compliance, Profitability, Operational, etc.)
- Be an agent of change for the rollout of new initiatives
- Carry out various projects and mandates that have a major impact on the Banks profitability and efficiency
- Have expert knowledge of profitability, GRC Web, VCP, business rules and performance management indicators
- Work closely with several of the sector’s teams
- Ensure compliance (monitoring sales/operational quality dashboards, VCP, financials, etc.) with various partners (Operations, Internal Audit, Marketing, Products, Risk Management)
- Understand business challenges and identify requirements to ensure profitability, and to protect the Bank’s image and reputation in the event of an administrative error, operational failure or other situation
- Influence the strategic priorities and policies for different Commercial Banking segments (Commercial Banking, Agriculture, Real Estate, CFG, Specialized, SSRC, SB) and regions (CWA)
**Competencies required**:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 7 years of relevant experience or master’s degree in a related field and 5 years of relevant experience
- Excellent analytical skills
- Experience in extracting data and creating dashboards
- Knowledge of Commercial Banking sector
- Knowledge of GRC Web, PowerBi, Advanced Excel
- Coaching skills and experience in a role advising executives
- Demonstrated political acumen and ability to influence others in a context of transformation and cultural shift
- Ability to make concepts easy to understand and strong communication skills
- Independence and ability to work effectively with various stakeholders
- Experience in the Commercial Banking sales force is a key asset
- Bilingualism, spoken and written (English and - French)
