**Responsibilities**:

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures for heat pump systems according to the Canadian Electrical Code and other applicable regulations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues related to heat pump installations, provide solutions and complete repairs in a timely manner
- Perform regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Collaborate effectively with project managers, HVAC technicians, and other team members on heat pump installation projects
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns, answering questions, and providing updates on project progress
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to all company policies and procedures

Qualifications:

- Enrolled in school and working toward their Red Seal Electrician license.
- Working experience under an electrician, preferably with experience in heat pump installations or HVAC systems
- Proficient in the use of electrical tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices
- Strong knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code, local regulations, and safety standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and clean drivers abstract.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
