**About the Role**:
Fitzrovia is seeking an experienced **Barista / Bartender **for 10 DEAN. The Barista will be responsible for providing luxury service to guests, while taking great care of our equipment and café space.

**Responsibilities**:

- Daily setup and breakdown of the coffee station
- Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks, cocktails, wine, beer, snacks and other menu items
- Ensure café menu items are prepped as required, coffee is brewed consistently throughout the shift, ensuring proper temperature of all products
- Maintain knowledge of all menu items, and be able to provide recommendations
- Assist guests with food and beverage orders in a friendly and timely manner
- Ensure the café space is kept clean and presentable throughout the course of the shift
- Manage cash handling and payments, ensuring accuracy and proper close-out
- Participate in teamwork and foster harmonious working climate
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained
- Ensure proper hygiene / handwashing throughout the shift
- Ensure excellent customer service for guests at all times

**Qualifications**:

- 1-2 years of previous related experience, confidence with espresso machine and a variety of beverages
- Experience working in a bar is considered an asset
- Food Handler and Smart Serve Certificate is required
- Energetic and accountable, with a customer-service orientation
- Ability to proactively maintain cleanliness and organization
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude
- Experience with cash handling and / or restaurant POS system a plus
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
