Currently we are hiring **Air Hand Technicians** for several Industrial projects throughout Alberta and BC. Applicants must be physically capable of performing labour and standing for long periods. No experience is necessary and necessary training will be provided.

**Qualifications**:

- H2S Alive, Confined Space Entry/Monitor, CSO, WHMIS, Standard First Aid & CPR and Fall Protection
- Direct field safety or related experience within the Oil & Gas industry is a strong asset
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills
- Strong observational and listening skills
- Must speak and write English clearly and fluently
- Must hold a valid Driver’s License and clean Driver’s Abstract
- Ability to pass pre-employment Drug & Alcohol testing when necessary
- Must have a personal cellphone as well as basic computer knowledge
- Must successfully complete internal training as required
- Must provide own ankle covering steel toed boots
- Having reliable transportation to get to and from site is an asset
- Willing to work outdoors, work an irregular schedule (including night shifts and weekends), and travel to various client sites as needed
- Must be capable of working with limited supervision and able to exercise initiative and sound judgement

**Responsibilities**:

- Participate in all pre-job and daily tailgate meetings
- Assess and communicate all hazards and conditions involved in the work site with Supervisor
- Operate a radio to communicate as required
- Operate breathing air trailer within Irwin’s Safety work procedures and supply breathing air to workers in hazardous environments
- Rig in / rig out breathing air trailer
- Intervene in unsafe acts and unsafe conditions and take appropriate action to influence safe behaviors and to create a safe working environment

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
