As a daycare cook, you will be responsible for planning nutritious and balanced meals that meet the dietary needs of children, ages ranging from infants to preschoolers. Your role is vital in ensuring that our children receive delicious, healthy meals that support their growth and development.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks for children, following provided menus and dietary guidelines.
- Ensure that meals are served in appropriate portion sizes and are appealing to children.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including regular cleaning of equipment and utensils.
- Monitor food inventory and coordinate with management to order supplies as needed.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and storage procedures.
- Accommodate special dietary needs and allergies, as communicated by parents or guardians.
- Collaborate with daycare staff to create a positive dining experience for children, promoting healthy eating habits and table manners.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience working as a cook or chef, preferably in a daycare, school, or similar setting.
- Knowledge of nutrition and dietary requirements for young children.
- Ability to follow recipes and menus while accommodating dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Certification in food safety and sanitation is a plus.
