**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently handling food preparation, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Your ability to manage time effectively and engage with customers will be essential in creating a positive dining experience.

**Duties**
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for processing customer orders and payments.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering any questions regarding menu items.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while adhering to cash handling procedures.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the food service area in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in the food service industry or restaurant setting is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with cashiering and operating POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus.
- Familiarity with sanitation practices in a kitchen environment.
