International Auto Group (IAG) boast seven dealerships across the GTA which encompasses 10 legendary brands. We are looking for a **Private Contractor** that is reliable, honest, organized, detail-oriented, and has a strong desire to succeed that will function as the Controller for our Weston Ford Dealership.

This Controller **_(Private Contractor)_** posting will cover a maternity leave for a period of 16 months, with the possibility of extension.

**Job Duties**:

- Post new retail and fleet deals
- Post invoices
- Reconcile statements
- Disburse cheques
- Ability to produce and analyze financial statements
- Prepare accounts for payments & verify data in system
- Follow up on past due accounts and returned checks
- Payroll including preparation sales personnel commissions and verifying chits against schedules
- Floor plan payout of units
- Booking/tracking and managing of warranty claims
- Oversee or perform tasks to ensure the financial functions are reconciled monthly including (but not limited to): cash, accounts receivables, prepaid expenses, manufacturer statements, vehicle deal commissioning, intercompany accounts, etc.
- Meeting all monthly, quarterly and annual deadlines as required by Head Office and the Dealer Principal/GM’s including: monthly reconciliations, monthly and quarterly reporting to Head Office, covenant calculations, InFord reporting, financial analysis, year-end reporting, etc.
- Review and maintain all contracts with sister companies, Bell, utility companies, etc.
- Ensure all tax requirements are handled properly
- Management of dealership accounting staff.
- Completing analysis or requests made by the Dealer Principal or General Manager.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years accounting experience within an automotive dealership is a must
- Strong knowledge of PBS
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Are a self-starter with ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelors Degree or College Diploma in Accounting or equivalent
- Have AR/AP experience in automotive dealership
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills required
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office required

**Working Arrangement**
- Private Contractor to IAG, as such, you will be responsible for billing IAG on a bi-weekly basis.
- Hourly rate will be determined by experience, approximately range is between $35-45/hr.
- This role will require a minimum commitment of 40 hours per week.
