Position Overview:
Reporting to the Corporate Used Parts Manager, this position is responsible for providing clear and effective leadership as it relates to safety, people, quality, and quantity of work performed by all used parts employees located at the used parts warehouse/shop facility including warehouse, administrative and service roles. Accountable for all day-to-day operations related to the running of the Warehouse and service area, execution and facilitating targeted levels of customer satisfaction, and the delivery of branch goals and objectives.

**Job Description**:

- All purchase orders, item set-up, freight and other invoices as well as other administrative tasks that are within teams responsibility..
- Very strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong business acumen / business case analysis
- Strong customer focus and consulting sales skills.
- Decision-making skills based on analysis, knowledge and expertise.
- Proficient at time management, organizational and prioritization skills.
- Effective supervisory and team building skills
- Initiative and ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Heavy equipment parts business
- General business acumen and strong sales/marketing knowledge.
- Understanding of Finning’s internal procedures, depts and support systems
- Knowledge of parts inventory & transaction systems: DBS, SIS-Web, M3
- All the knowledge required to be a parts countersales person
- All the knowledge required to be a buyer of heavy equipment parts inventory
- Understands and adheres to Finning policies and procedures, including safety
- Develop and maintain long-term internal and external customer/supplier relationships.
- Accountable for performance used parts team to follow all policies and procedures.
- Addressing customer concerns and issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Responsible for the effective human resources management of staff and to foster an effective work environment which successfully contributes the achievement of the business goals and objectives for Finning (Canada) and the work unit.
- Represent the company in a professional and ethical manner and maintain effective relationships with internal departments and staff while maintaining confidentiality.
- Providing day to day support and leadership to direct reports.

Education & Experience:

- Minimum 5 years of heavy equipment parts, sales, service or related industry experience.
- Post-secondary education in business, accounting, or other related field would be considered an asset.
- Heavy Duty Parts ticket would be considered an asset.
