- **Resident Services Staff work to achieve the following**:_
- To provide residents, tenants, visitors, volunteers and employees with a warm and welcoming environment.
- To facilitate the procurement of community support services and facilitate, guide and support the transition of our Residents who are experiencing an increase in their care needs.
- To employ infection prevention and control measures while performing all cleaning duties.
- To identify safety hazards within the physical environment and immediately report these to the Joint Health and Safety Committee.
- To adhere to all safety measures and precautions for the protection and comfort of the residents, family members, employees and volunteers.

**Qualifications**:

- PSW Certificate
- Previous experience working as a PSW in a retirement community or Long-Term Care is an asset.
- Experience in geriatrics or gerontology is an asset.
- An understanding of the needs and issues of the older adult is required.
- Current certification in CPR and First Aid is required.
- Availability to work days, evenings, nights and weekends is required. Must be able to work 12-hour shifts.
- Experience in medication administration an asset.
- Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
- Willingness to update and keep current their knowledge of changing regulations, practices and procedures is a requirement.
- Good attendance record is required.
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening is required (dated within 6 months).
- TB testing and a N95 mask fit certificate is required

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $18.51-$19.95 per hour

Work Location: In person
