**Job Summary**
This position has the opportunity to work with a small team of mechanics to repair, maintain, troubleshoot, and service of a large variety of equipment from passenger vehicles to highway tractors and wide variety of construction equipment. Every day is different

**Responsibilities**
- Follow all company safety policies and practices
- Perform diagnostic, repairs and preventative maintenance
- Perform CVIP Inspections
- Work on all components, including engines, electrical controls and systems, power train, hydraulics, brakes, steering, suspension, transmissions, fueling and other systems
- Perform basic and complex diagnosis of systems through the use of diagnostic scanning tools, computer software and traditional methods
- Communicate with Shop Foreman on parts required to complete tasks
- Electronically document all work completed and parts used
- Maintain a clean workspace

**Requirements**:

- Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician or equivalent experience
- Valid drivers license with clean abstract (Class 1 or 3 is an asset)
- 5+ years of experience working on a variety vehicles
- 3+ years of experience working on off-highway equipment an asset
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
- Able to perform work in various environments, including shops, outdoors, and construction sites
- Ability to always work in a safe manner
- Communicate effectively in English
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Basic computer skills
- CVIP Certification an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Experience**:

- Light and Heavy Duty Technician: 5 years (required)
- Off Highway Vehicle Technician: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Drivers License (required)
- Class 3 Drivers License (preferred)
