**Role Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ability to operate Excavator to dig trenches, assist in side-hoe and backfill trenches in a safe manner
- Complete pre-trip inspection and grease equipment, daily
- Maintain equipment and report defects to foreman
- Ability to put projects to design and on time

**Qualifications**:

- Experience working on an underground services crew, an asset
- GPS experience is an asset
- Critical thinking skills to be able to work in a safe manner
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Communicate effectively in English following written and verbal instructions
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Class 5 license with reliable transportation
- Ground Disturbance level 2 is an asset
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Cell phone with ability to run SiteDocs app

Ground Breakers Construction is a locally owned and family operated company, founded in 2006. We provide asphalt paving, underground construction, and earthworks to Southern Alberta and surrounding areas. We also offer retail sales of landscaping rock and other rock product.
