**DUTIES**

The Sales and Service Advisor is a customer facing role which is responsible for overseeing the service operations at Harbour Vue Marina, including storage, and sales This role involves working with a dynamic team to ensure exceptional service and fostering strong customer relationships.

**FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Schedule Marine service appointments by listening to customer's description of symptoms; clarifying the description of problems; conducting inspections; checking prior service records; examining service schedules.
- Check boats in and out of property ensuring all outstanding account balances are paid prior to vessels leaving the property.
- Verify warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and coverage plans; explaining provisions and exclusions to customers as needed.
- Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, parts and labour; calculating customer's payment, including deductibles.
- Prepare work orders (WO) by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required; obtaining approval signatures; entering WO into service database system
- Maintain customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected return of vessel; obtaining customer's approval of estimates; obtaining and providing contact telephone numbers; answering questions and concerns; arranging pick up / deliveries as required.
- Maintain accurate records by updating WOs, adding parts / labour and finalizing invoices.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading manufacturers' publications
- Assist as required in Major Item Sales such as P/A, loose motors, boat packages.
- Assist as required with purchasing / receiving of P/A.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Maintaining excellent customer service relationships while effectively addressing and resolving customer concerns in a timely manner.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one to two (1-2) years of experience as a marine sales / service advisor preferred.
- Hold a valid boat operator's license.
- Demonstrated extensive knowledge of different types of boats and their mechanics.
- Highly responsive and committed to delivering exceptional customer satisfaction in a timely manner.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
