**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Develop detailed architectural drawings, schematics, and models using CAD software.
- Collaborate with architects and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Create 2D and 3D representations of designs using tools such as AutoCAD, Sketchup, and Revit.
- Prepare construction documents, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details.
- Conduct site visits to gather measurements and assess project conditions as needed.
- Revise drawings based on feedback from team members or clients to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain organized records of all drafts, revisions, and related documentation.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to enhance design processes.
- Provide support to project managers by creating detailed material takeoffs, schedules, and shop drawings for fabrication and installation purposes.

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
- Experience in creating schematics and detailed architectural designs is preferred.
- Strong understanding of BC building codes, regulations, and construction practices.
- Ability to produce high-quality 2D animations for presentations is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and clients.
- A degree or certification in architecture or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
