**Fortress Retaining Walls and Landscapes Ltd.** is currently seeking hard-working, motivated people to fill open laborer positions, with an opportunity to advance and learn a skilled trade. We are based out of Burnaby and work across Metro Vancouver. Employment is full-time and based in both residential and commercial installations/construction (hardscaping). **Wage is based on experience ($22-24/hr.). Daily tasks include, but are not limited to**:

- Retaining Wall installation
- Paver installation
- Shovelling, Wheelbarrowing, Raking
- Operating Cut Off Saws, Circular Saws, Plate Compactors, Etc.
- Ability/Desire to learn skilled installations
- Self-motivation
- Punctual
- Valid driver's license preferred; but not required (additional pay for valid Class 5 or better)
- Appropriate safety gear (steel toe boots, etc.)
- Okay with heavy lifting/manual labour (shovelling, raking, etc.) on a regular basis
- Willingness to get to sites around Metro Vancouver or to agreed upon pickup location (crews meet at various locations to carpool in company trucks)
- A proper resumé

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
