**Job Title: Management Trainee**

**Department: Operations**

**Reports to: Chief Operating Officer**

We are currently seeking an adaptable, flexible and eager to learn Management Trainee for our Operations Department as we continue to expand our business. In order to be successfully chosen in this position, you need to be highly driven, have a passion for learning about and engaging with people, and a desire to build a successful career in an International Business and Trading environment.

**Key Objectives - Responsibilities**

**Processing Plants**
- Understand how Grain is procured
- Understand how Grain is received
- Understand how Grain is processed
- Understand how Grain is shipped

**Processing Plants**
- Understand how inventory is managed
- Understand how Quality is managed
- Understand Logistics at the plant level
- Understand production reporting

**Processing Plants**
- Understand the procurement process
- Understand edible bean processing
- Understand Storage requirements

**Trading**
- Understand costing
- Understand the intricacies of Trading
- Understand the A/R aspect of Trading

**Contracts**
- Understand the Purchase Contract
- Understand the Sales Contract
- Understand the Reporting & Tracking

**Logistics**
- Understand important Incoterms
- Understand the various shipping lines
- Understand rates and how they influence trades
- Understand movement within North America
- Understand movement overseas
- Understand Tracking and Reporting

**Documentation**
- Understand destination export requirements
- Understand import requirements for Canada
- Understand L/C terms and role of a Bank
- Understand invoicing and A/R processes

**Key ETG Skills Required**:
a) Adaptability - multiple work locations and environments

b) The ability to handle stress and navigate through turbulence

c) Presentability and professionalism

d) Willingness to Travel and Work Extra Hours

e) Excellent Communications skills internally and externally

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
