**Springwater Golf Course is looking to hire a Server / Dining Room Server for the 2025 golf season.**
Must have Smart Serve Certification and reliable transportation as no public transportation is available.
Must be available to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
**Springwater Golf Course is located 10 minutes North of Barrie off Hwy 26 in Minesing.**
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: $17.20 hour
**Server will be required to work dining room and beverage cart.**
**Server Job Description**:
The server is responsible for the distribution of assorted beverages, alcoholic drinks and various snacks.
- Prepare an assortment of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, serving alcoholic drinks only to those 19 years old
- Prepare and serve various snacks.
- Receive and record all monetary transactions.
- Project yourself in a positive and professional manner with guests and co-workers at all times.
- Keep work area properly stocked, must be able to lift and carry 25 pounds for 25 yards.
- Follow all liquor policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Perform all job tasks within the rules and guidelines of the safety program.
- Work as a Team Player with co-workers and in conjunction with other departments.
**Server Job Description**:
The server is responsible for duties within the dining room/kitchen, serving customers, clearing plates, cleaning dining room, restocking fridges, restocking snacks, and all other duties.
**Dining Room Job duties**:
- Serve and take customer orders
- Prepare and serve various snacks.
- Receive and record all monetary transactions.
- Maintain a clean and orderly dining room at all times. Clear plates, wash tables, restock condiments, and vacuum.
- Project yourself in a positive and professional manner with guests and co-workers at all times.
- Keep work area properly stocked, must be able to lift and carry 25 pounds for 25 yards.
- Follow all liquor policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Perform all job tasks within the rules and guidelines of the safety program.
- Work as a Team Player with co-workers
**Job Requirements**:
**Education/Experience Required**:
- Requires previous sales or customer service experience.
- Requires previous cashiering experience.
**Technical Skills Required**:
- Solid knowledge of math and the ability to accurately make change from cash transactions while on the course.
- Must be able to operate point-of-sale system to enter daily sales.
- Ability to balance transactions at the end of each shift.
**Interpersonal Skills**:
- Maintains a favourable working relationship with all co-workers to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate to help keep high morale and productivity.
- Requires ability to focus on many tasks at once.
- Self-starter, self-motivated, adaptable, able to work with mínimal direction and unsupervised.
- Demonstrates excellent customer service skills.
- A desire to learn and participate in the ongoing improvements and enhancement of the restaurant.
**Physical Demands/Work Environment**:
- Requires the ability to safely lift items up to 50 lbs.
- Requires sitting and riding in a golf cart, bending, stretching and pulling in the course and scope of the work.
- Requires standing, bending, stretching while working in the dining room
- Fast paced environment
**Job Types**: Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $17.20 per hour

**Experience**:
- Food & Beverage Servers: 2 years (preferred)
- serving: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Smart Serve (preferred)
