Experienced Machine Operator, Landscape Experience

This position is for an experienced Machine Operator. Landscape experience preferred. This could also be a good opportunity for an experienced carpenter to redirect their experience.

**DESCRIPTION**

Day-to-day activity will involve but not be exclusive of:

- A daily briefing, loading tools and materials,
- Working with others or alone to provide quality work in a safe, organized and timely manner.
- The work being carried out will be broad throughout the Spring, Summer and Fall with tasks mainly surrounding snow removal and yard improvements in the Winter.
- Shift length is generally set to 4x10 in Summer with edited shift times in Winter.

**Spring, Summer and Fall projects will include but not be limited to**: excavating, grading, machine operation, building fences, installing irrigation systems, repairing/updating irrigation systems, building retaining walls, installing lawn solutions, low voltage lighting, exterior carpentry.

**Winter activity will include but not be limited to**: Machine based snow removal with skid steer bobcats, loaders and plow/sand trucks. Prebuilding for the following season, and company location improvements.

**WHAT YOU ALREADY HAVE**
- Prior experience in landscape construction, ideally no less than 3 years.
- Ideally have formal training in landscaping.
- Have landscaping as your long-term career plan.
- Be a self-starter who is motivated to work and be part of a team, being able to work safely in teams and alone when necessary.
- References from recent employers.
- Ability to supply your own steel toe boots and work clothes.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Seasonal

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay
