We are looking for an experienced **Construction Manager **to plan, direct and execute the construction phase of projects from renovations and additions to custom homes. You will work in a fast-paced environment with experienced and passionate team members who value integrity, excellence, safety, and continuous improvement.

**Responsibilities**

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Plan, direct and control construction projects according to schedule, specifications and budget.
- Accountable for overall construction performance of the project as related to safety, material usage, and manpower assets.
- Manage and prioritize day-to-day job site tasks, ensure successful and timely execution of the project schedule.
- In consultation with the Project Manager, identify manpower requirements and scheduling needs at different stages in the project to guarantee quality.
- Confirm quality workmanship and efficiency with crew leads, subtrades and site staff.
- Identify scope changes and inform the Project Manager
- Maintain positive client relationships
- Meet client as requested and communicate meeting items to Project Manager
- Effective onsite communications and progress reporting with sub-trades and client.
- Ensure required equipment and tools are identified, on-site and maintained in a safe operational condition.
- Coordinate materials and schedule inspections as required with Construction Support personnel.
- Execute projects within budget, validating work completion prior to vendor payment.
- Resolve on-site conflicts quickly.
- Confirm compliance with health and safety training and reporting requirements.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site clear of debris and hazards.
- Complete daily administrative tasks as required.
- Perform carpentry work as management time allows.

**_Requirements _**
- 5-8 years of residential construction/renovation management experience including renovations and large additions
- Advanced knowledge of construction regulations and standards; hands on construction experience/Carpentry license an asset
- Excellent time management, communication, and organization skills
- Able to purposefully plan the “next step” and understand how that helps with the successful completion of projects
- Read and understand blueprints and drawings
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, experience with Procore an asset
- High attention to detail and strong work ethic
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Valid Driver’s Licence and clean driving record
